Our Courses

Level I - Introduction to Robotics Software Programming

In this course, students will learn fundamental coding concepts in VEX to control and manipulate their robots. VEX is a coding language that supports drag and drop coding for young coders. At the end of this course, students will understand universal coding concepts such as loops, variables, and coordinate systems. No prior coding experience is needed.

Level II - Advanced Robotics Movement Programming

This course builds upon coding basics and fundamentals to control basic robot movement. At the end of this course, students will be able to command their robot to move in complex motions and paths. Students will be able to use the robot’s movement to write their name in VEX’s virtual playground.

Level III - Introduction to Robotics Gyrosensors

Sensors help robots make decisions for themselves! Learn all about Gyrosensors and how they can help robots calculate direction and measure angles. At the end of this course, students will be able to program robots that navigate around obstacles by themselves

Level IV - Intermediate Robotics Sensors

Students dive deeper into the world of sensors! Using a combination of sensors, students can program robots to make smarter decisions on their own. Students will be able to program robots that can navigate complex mazes on their own at the end of this course.

Level V - Intermediate Robotics Sensors - Vision Sensors

Build upon your sensor knowledge with vision sensors! With their ability to detect color, students will write programs to help robots determine color data and what to do with it. At the end of the course, students will program a robot to sort colored balls and discs on their own.

Level VI - Advanced Robotics Sensors

Students will combine and apply all their sensor knowledge in this final sensor course. By utilizing a variety of sensor data, students can program robots that can perform complex tasks. Students at this level will be able to program robots that can solve a variety of complex problems,
